Designs in progress

I’ve been almost obscenely productive lately. To the point where I worry that I’m suddenly going to lose all motivation, so I’ve been really taking advantage of my little knitting spurt – which means I have no less than 8 patterns knit, written and in the process of getting ready for publication. That includes 3 cardigans (2 will be self-published, 1 in a book), a scarf and bag for the next issue of Knit Now, 2 simple crochet patterns for another magazine and one slightly out of my comfort zone – a little knitted mascot for a certain British company. That’s the first time I’ve listed them all – this is getting silly.

So…because I’m lovely, here’s a sneak peek at one of them. Thanks go to my good friend Ricky for the photography.

It’s knit with Manos Silk Blend and it only uses 3 skeins of MC even in my size (really!) and less than half a skein of CC. I started knitting it on the plane to the US in the summer and finished it a couple of weeks ago.

The name will be announced when the pattern’s released 🙂
