Wool Week Day 3: Sheep on a Train

Wow, today has been incredible! So many wonderful people on the train, and the flag is nearly finished – just a few more squares to knit and some sewing up tomorrow.

It’s rather late (not technically day 3 any more) so here’s a photodump of some of today’s best bits.

Gin O’clock
Katie & Juliet working on their squares
Juliet meeting the lovely Jane (of Woolsack fame), who brought us elderflower cordial because she’s a superstar.
Some pretty lovely scenery on the East coast.
My finished squares – this chunky Rowan British breeds yarn was lush to work with. Mmmmmmwool!
The flag as it stood when we arrived in Edinburgh.
A sheep in fox’s clothing…
It’s Nessie! In the window of K1 yarns – which we stumbled upon just by accident. Best accident EVER.
My haul from K1. And yes, I do plan to use all three of those colours in one project.
And of course…the castle! Totally worth trundling up the hill for.

And now, my bed is calling me. Can’t wait for tomorrow!
